Who am I?
Hi, My name is Hope Friedman. I'm currently a junior in high school and an active member of my community. If I had to describe myself in a few words, I'd say I'm goal-oriented, passionate, determined, and empathetic.
My why:
I created this organization to shed light on unequal medical access around the world. As an aspiring physician, I see this as the beginning of my journey to help others. As a high school student, I know my opportunities to assist people beyond my community, and especially outside my country, are limited. I spent a lot of time thinking about projects that could spread awareness and make a real difference. Eventually, I realized that while I may not be able to physically travel to underserved areas, many others can, and it is important to support them and their efforts.
To do that, I turned to the internet, which allows information to reach people across the globe. Through this website and my blog, I hope to inspire others to make a difference, not only in the medical field but also within their own communities. My main goal is to raise awareness about underprivileged communities that lack access to healthcare. At the same time, I want my readers to feel connected, passionate, and informed about the issues at hand. By educating one person, I believe I can help many, and that is what I hope to achieve with this platform.
